OUR MISSION

Fair Trade:
Fair Trade Décor is a home décor business dedicated to the sale of Fair Trade Products from around the world. The concept of Fair Trade stems from cultures and traditions which are not represented in North American production. (FTD) enthusiastically celebrates cultural diversity of communities while seeking to create positive and equitable change in the world.

When you choose Fair Trade products, you are endorsing an economic system that provides opportunities for artisans to lift themselves out of poverty. Fair Trade assures consumers that artisans are provided a safe working environment and paid fair prices for their products. It gives them direct access to developed markets.

Most significantly, fair trade can be a positive force for empowering women, improving living standards, healthcare, education and the environment in the communities where artisans live.

Home Décor:
When you decorate with Fair Trade Décor your home will stand out from the ordinary and show a touch of worldliness! Our artisans' quality handmade products will enhance any home décor. You can simply punctuate your existing décor with unique items or make bolder statements with several distinctive pieces. When your purchases lead to lively conversations in your home, you can take pride in participating in a movement that helps others and makes the world a better place!

We are a family business dedicated to helping others through Fair Trade. By combining Betsy’s passion for Home and Garden Décor, Jude’s entrepreneurial business experience and the awesome technical skills of our nephews, Bryan and Kyle, we have created a place for you to purchase truly unique and endearing products.

We are located in San Diego, CA, where we spend our free time on the beach and with friends. We love to travel and experience new places and cultures, when we are not visiting our children in Seattle and New York City.
