An item is missing from my shipment or I received the wrong product.

One of my items arrived damaged.
If you receive a damaged item: Please save the package in the condition in which you received it, including carton, packing material, and products. Then contact us immediately to arrange next steps and the correct shipping address to use for returns. At that point, we will give you the choice of
1) A refund (including the shipping amount) or a credit toward a future purchase, or
2) A replacement item, if one can be sent. All of our items are handmade and many of them are truly one-of-a-kind. For some items, a replacement or substitute item may not be available; in that case, we will give you your choice of a refund or a credit toward a future purchase.
What shipping methods can I choose from?
Our typical shipping method is UPS Ground, which usually takes between 5-7 business days however, because our products are handmade your order could take up to 14 days. For expedited shipping, please contact us prior to placing your order.
How much is shipping?
A flat rate of $15.95 is charged for all online orders to the continental U.S. For orders outside the continental U.S. or for expedited shipping, please contact us prior to placing your order.
When will my order ship?
We strive to send orders out the day on which they are received. We ship all orders by the following business day for items that are in stock. For items not in stock, we will notify you immediately. Most backorders are resolved in less than 7 days. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 48 hours of shipment.
How do I return my product?
If you receive an item in good condition but you are unhappy with it for any reason, you may notify us within 30 days to arrange for a full product refund or store credit toward a future purchase. You will be responsible for shipping the item back to Fair Trade Decor, and we recommend insuring your package. Refunds/credit will be given only on items which are received back to us in undamaged, saleable condition. Please contact us to arrange for next steps and the correct shipping address to use for returns.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
You only pay sales tax if you are located in the state of California.

What are my payment choices?
During the checkout process you may choose any of our current payment options and continue to place your order. Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment from you.
I need a copy of my receipt/invoice.
A copy of your invoice is included with your shipment and in the email confirming shipment. Please contact us if you need additional copies.
When will my credit appear on my account?
Credits usually take 7-10 business days from the time we receive your item(s).
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged at the time your order is placed for your items.
Is my online purchase secure?
This website is protected with SSL (secure socket layer) encryption, the highest standard in Internet security.
